Ernest, a Barrel Aged Stock Ale, is our third style in Endeavour's Mixed Fermentation Project. This version was aged in oak wine barrels which created aromas of caramel, dark fruits, pralines, and sweet cherries. The flavours are deeply complex and include chocolate, coffee, fruit, caramel, and nuts reminiscent of a chocolate biscotti. This beer will make you want to eat something sweet and continue to drink it to the very end.
