We took a trip to Germany and the Czech Republic to chase Europe’s great lagers. After spending a week touring Germany, we drove into Prague. Prague is a beautiful and very old city. Thus, driving in Prague is challenging. My co-pilot was navigating by GPS when she told me to turn left. I said “Here? Are you sure?” She was very adamant, and said “Yes, here”. I turned left and the next thing we knew, we were driving by people standing on a streetcar platform. We realized we had turned onto the streetcar line, I saw the light ahead was green, for the streetcar. I stomped on the throttle and made it through the light. Unfortunately, as I was speeding through the light, we passed a Police van. I quickly pulled over onto a side street. The Police van stopped behind us and empty out eight-armed officers. After much language confusion about moving the vehicle, getting out the vehicle and putting my hands "On the Hood" of the vehicle; the lead officer gave us a fine and then said “GPS only, no brain?” Traveling is always a great adventure.
